It's important to note that we added the vegetables, and in the case of the Chili and Enchilada, the brown rice. If you choose this company as your senior meal solution, you will have to add your own frozen vegetables to serve a complete meal.

Also, be sure to read the microwave heating instructions. They take very little time to reheat, about a minute, but if you don't vent the packaging seal, expect a huge "Boom!" and you have a messy microwave to clean. The text on their packaging could be a little bigger for seniors, but it's pretty easy to get accustomed to. 

All-in-all, these meals provide some okay to good flavor. Again, this program is all about the value you can get at the lowest price per meal.

The Enchiladas, Lasagna, Chili, and Ravioli were the class of the order. We would recommend you double up on those. We didn't find any "strips" in our Steak Strips meal. There were a few bits of cubed beef. The portion size of Beef Stroganoff seemed small, and these are already small portion sizes.

Both chicken dishes were good, but the texture of the chicken breast seemed a little odd, like it was assembled and formed from chicken dust, but the meal was still good.
